Quick question--Has anyone experienced a worsening of symptoms following surgery? I am still searching for
a diagnosis. I am presently on thyroid meds which it seems many CF patients also take. I feel that all my symptoms began after I had surgery--anyone else experienced this? Thank you

I have to tell you, I had a kidney removed three years ago due to a very small malignant tumor that was found by accident. They made a large incision across my abdomen and since the surgery, I've developed psoriasis on my legs, myofacialmyalgia and I have all the symptoms of IBS! I'll be going through all the tests soon to make sure it's nothing else. I'm completely worn out all the time, have no energy and get no rest from sleeping. I can no longer drink milk, eat fried foods and lots of other stuff. I'm sure this was all brought on from my surgery. I suffered very little before. So, that could be the same thing with you! Major surgery is very traumatic on the body. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you for your input. I am concerned because I have to have some additional surgery the end of the month. Fortunately, it will not be general anesthesia--it will be twilight. But I don't need to feel any worse than I feel now!
