Im doing much better now,, thanks for asking, I appreciate the support. Actually went out to dinner last night and had a little fun at the casino. I had more pain with the surgery than I expected, anytime i sat up for any length of time I had horrid pain in the gallbladder area, Dr said that was normal. Not sure about that but at least Im feeling much better now.

The Dr had the biospy report back which showed it had chronic inflammation..I have the polycystic liver and kidney disease so there was some concern whether it was the liver or gallbladder causing the pain. But with the hida scan at 17% we decided the gallbladder needed to come out, so I was glad to see I made the right decision.

Dr said I could resume my normal activities just no hard work or lifting for 4 weeks.

Main problem I have now is when I eat I get alot of pain in the stomach and gallbladder area..maybe I should stick with the lowfat diet for a while..

Probably so...it was maybe close to 4 weeks before I really started trying to introduce small amounts of fat into my diet (though I did have a craving for Mexican that I just had to satisfy at about 2 weeks!). I found that I had a funny sort of pain/discomfort at the gallbladder site for a while...just figured that it was healing and the bile duct was trying to take over and it eventually went away. It's been 3 months and 6 days now and all is perfect! Glad you are doing better....
