Over two years of fighting with my back pain-then Xmas eve day spasms started. It's like a rollercoaster every five days or so it takes to go from feeling pretty good to bouncing off the walls and ceiling screeming with spasms. It's like the pain from the spasms go from a 2 to a 10 in their pain scale. Sometimes they would have to rate the pain 2-20 it is so bad. Now this is just the spasms. The pain from my fall over 2 years ago is always there too. These spasms are over and above that pain. Anybody else like this-and I assume I am not alone. On 50% Duragesic Patch-plus two muscle relexers plus a number of other drugs. It seem like it has to get so bad that I sometimes don't think I can take much more-and then my body resets itself and we start over. I've had these infront of doctors where it looks like an eptilptic seizure that can last 45 minutes to an hour. No one has an answer-just push more drugs on you. I have had all the mri's and nerve tests they can think of. Any ideas? They never go away, they just very in strenght and they very from 10 a day to almost constant.

 Hi, I feel for you, those spasms are worse than the pain from the surgery. I hate them, but I think mine are finally under control, I had quite taking pain meds, because I didn't think I needed them, but apparently I still so, the Percocet along with the Robaxin twice a day is keeping them at bay. I sure hope that you can get yours under control, hugs and prayers for you. Valley
