I've read from time to time on this board the belief that adverse drug reactions to cholesterol lowering medications are likely going unreported. This is just a reminder that if you believe you have had a serious reaction and don't believe your doctor has reported it to the FDA, you can report it yourself. Here is a link to do that.
https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/medwatch/
I know the old-timers on this board are already familiar with this, but many of the newer people may not be.

Uff-da!
Thanks for the link - I just accessed it and finally submitted a report on my reaction to Lipitor/Tricor.
It didn't take long to complete the forms - about 5-10 minutes, and now at least there is another report for the FDA to consider.

Thanks Uff-Da, I didn't know about that service.
Gosh where to begin,
Maybe inchronological order"
Corgard
Ativan
Niacin
Horny Goat Weed :D
MSM
Atenolol
Norvasc
PLAVIX
I guess that will keep me busy when the rainy week begins in NYC! Gosh, if I thought long and hard for others, perhaps I could stand a MONTH of rain! :D
There are MANY, MANY really awful drugs/supplements/ "cures" in the pharmacopeia...and many quack "cures" in the health food stores.
