Hi
I am searching for help/info for my daughter. She has had constant nagging/hacking/dry cough for almost three weeks. The list of meds she has been on, not to mention two rounds of antibiotics, two rounds of prednisone and shots, is just total craziness.
We are considering just going off all meds and seeing what happens. I have read some posts that others have similar situations. We are searching for some relief that we have not found in meds.
Thanks!

Has she been tested for asthma? For some people, asthma presents itself as a constant cough.

Allergies, asthma and reflux can all do this.

Hi
One Dr. says it is asthma ~ another says there is no wheezing there ~ so, doubtful of asthma.......her airways sound clear; she is getting oxygen, chest xray is clear, just dry hacking cough nonstop....
