Hi! I'm not Momwithms, but wanted to let you know that I also had the severe pain on the outside bottoms of my feet even with lying down! It was so severe at one time that it hurt to walk-almost like they were severly bruised. I still have discomfort, but with meds the pain has eased up.

Well, my feet hurt all over - including the bottoms. My left one really hurts. If I walk very much, one of the muscles in it will spasm and draw up. My foot doesn't sit flat on the floor anymore. The middle of it pulls up (middle of the inside) and my toes don't point anymore.

I have had trouble swallowing. It's not really a choking sensation that much (but it can be), but for me, it's like I forget how to swallow. I get the food/pill on the back of my tongue and can't get the muscles to act right to swallow. It's very weird.

Hiya Mom-w-ms,

I just want to say that I understand you completely. I have said before that I have the "twin" of MS and all the things you describe happen to me.

My left knee points inwards, my left foot curls up into a "claw" inwards when I am sat or I put my foot down to try to walk. My left side is the worst, so like you I suppose, I have to compensate with the right side which isn't as bad. Hey ho, what are we like? He he.

It is so frightening when food or pills won't go down, I have sensations of gasping for breath because I just cannot swallow. It is so very frightenening especailly if I am at home on my own. I panic like mad.

It's good for me to know of these things that happen to you, becauss to try to explain them to a person without MS or MNM is so difficult.

Take care.
