about 6 weeks ago i had terriible pains in my left side and in my back my docTor gave me antibiotics and sent me away thinking it was an infection,2 weeks later i am in hospital they do ultra sound on my tummy then internal scan-nothing they sent me home with painkillers,2 days later my urine is BRIGHT red i take it to my doctor,then to the hospital for a cystoscopy and ultra sound-nothing,all this time my back is killing me then they said i have to have a dye x ray in 2 weeks.im worried,does it sound like stones to you PLEASE HELP :confused:

I can honestly tell you that something similar just happened to me. You should definitely go see a urologist if you can. My uro gynecologist nurse just told me that just because you have blood in your urine, does not mean its an infection. Typically, urologist like to send your urine out for a culture to be certain. I am scheduled to have a cystoscopy to find out why I am having similar symptoms like yours.
