I have been diagnosed with barrets esophagas. I have never had symptoms, the diagnosis came about after a digital exam found stool blood. after a flex-sig, colonoscopy & finally gastroscopy it was determined the blood was a result of barrets. I have been taking aciphex for a couple of years, i have never hit a stage of pre-cancer luckily & my gastro tells me that he has had cases where people had been taking aciphex & reversed their barrets as a result

Thankyou so much for your reply that is very interesting that you were told you can reverse the barrets as I have been told that it's here to stay but if I control my reflux and watch my diet it might not get to the dodgy stage if you know what I mean, I take Nexium 20m per day have been for three months now not quite sure if the pain in my bones are a side affect or not I amd going to give them one moor month before I go back to my GP to investigate other tablets never herd of aciphex can you get these in London??

thanks again JoneeO
