First off I don't even know if this is the right board to post this as I'm not sure what my problem is exactly. Secondly I'm flat broke and unemployed with no health benefits or cash to even go to a clinic. I'm using my friends system to post this.

I'm 36 5'7" 230lbs. BP usually is about 125 over 70
Somewhat physically active. I do have light asthma that only flairs up along with my hay fever. No history of heart, blood pressure,or blood sugar problems. I also had been donating plasma for 2 years during the time my symptoms had started.

About 3 years ago I started having strange occurances.
I'd be sitting around watching TV, I'd have lunch or dinner and a soda. About 20- 25 minutes after eating I'd suddenly feel tired and exhausted. I couldnt keep my eyes open and wouldnt remember nodding off. I'd come to about 15-20 minutes later sometimes less never more. I'd have a slight headache( from oxygen dep or blood dep to the brain most likely) and be somewhat disoriented. Now I had the same thing happen with just drinking a lot of water then relaxing. There have also been times when I have been so exhausted after coming to I can't get out of bed and just take a nap.
A couple of times friends have seen me start to nod off and have said hey wake up and I do.. but my head will still hurt like i went out anyway. If I do nod off they say I snore extremely loud and powerfully like I'm really trying to get as much air as i can. If I do go down they have to kind of prod me awake then I'm ok except for having a head rush state and a headache.

It doesnt happen when I'm driving, or being active.. I can eat anything and go out for a walk or work or whatever with no problems.. but if I sit down and relax or ride in a car.. I'm out cold, and snore.
Afterwards I'm sluggish as heck.
Also My godson is diabetic and I've tested my sugars as I start feeling it coming on and after I come to.. Normal numbers for my glucose. A couple of times It dipped as i went down but came back to normal when i came to. So I'm doubting Diabetes or Hypoglycemia.

There were two things that happend nearly simultaneously 2 months before the symptoms started.
1 I threw out l3,4 and 5 lower lumbar in my back, and had them re aligned.
Secondly Our entire household caught some kind of super flu that lasted about a week. My godson caught it too and his doctor believes it is what damaged his pancreas causing his diabetes as 80% of his new patients at that time were children who had come down with this virus that was going around.

I'm scared this is going to kill me but cant afford help.. any ideas..
please write me at my email addy..

i am not a doctor, but i can just give you support. i have found that some people - they can be really active. but sitting down- or car rides they just get bushed(really tired, lol) and have the need to sleep/ i think the things you need to do for yourself is to make a check list- take a good walk everyday, eat those healthy foods, lay off alot of soda. keep your brain active- read a magazine. even before i got sick with menigities I would be the person who would want a nap everyday. i just seemed like i required more sleep than others. lots of hugs(())

Have you ever been tested for a sleep disorder, such as narcolepsy or sleep apnea?

My blood sugars would often drop after eating even though the docs would tell me all the tests were OK. There are also two other things to consider. I have a problem with my blood pressure dipping, but most of the problems with that occur with standing. My thyroid used to be normal low. That can cause fatigue. If I were to sit quietly watching TV I would get very, very cold and start shivering.

Doesn't sound like these fit you too well, but though I would pass the info along just in case.
It might be the timing of eating. Do you feel sleepy after all meals or just the ones later in the day. You may simply be ready for a nap. There also seems to be a lot of unknown reasons for becoming tired and sleepy after being up only an hour two. My husband has a terrible time with this.j

I've never been tested for anything unfortunately. I've been basically unemployed cash wise at least for 5 years.

As far as time of day when eating.. It doesnt matter the time of day. Like I said in my original post it doenst even need food to set it off.. a glass of water might do it.

When it starts like it even is right now.. it feels like I have no blood flow at all, kinda like i'm drained of all energy.
It's even taking a very concious effort to type and not go curl up and sleep.
