View Full Version : Head pressure with 'Fuzzy' feeling

I'm suffering from head pressure. My thinking and speech are clouded with a feeling of being mildly drunk. It's stressful to be like this.
It started about 18 months ago with a pressure somewhere way back behind my nose, then became an all over head pressure.

I've seen a Neurologist who sent me for an EEG and an ECG (clear) but he seems to think its not serious due to the length of time I've had it and because i've had the odd two week spell without it...then it returns. Prescribed 10mg Amitriptyline but useless.

The fuzzy feeling comes on about 11.00am and then stays until late evening. Ive experimented with diet but nothing seems to influence it.

I remain on a waiting list for 'General medicine' so they can have a try.

Any thoughts?

Hiya :)
I don't really know, (sorry!) but maybe it's something to do with your sinuses, because that could cause the pain behind your nose and can affect yor ears, which could affect your balance.
This could be making it hard for your eyes to constantly concentrate about where you are and thus straining your eyes giving you a headache!
Phew!
I hope that helped :D

oooh and about the diet thing, it might be influenced by something else like dustmites or pollen or some cleaner that you use...... ???

Even if that didn't help, I hope you feel better soon!

That is strange but I get similar feelings. Are you taking any type of meds ?
Mine usually starts around 2-3 hours after I awake and can go until afternoon. Stay in touch .
