Tyler Pursley 05-25-2005, 04:37 PM sorry for the miss spelling veins* but yea could it be from not getting enough sleep? fifistoosh 05-25-2005, 06:13 PM Yes! Too much alcohol too!!! LOL Don't know other causes, but the above are the reasons for mine. djrBoddah 07-13-2005, 02:31 PM Very possible that it is a condition called episcleritis. I have it in both eyes but, it started out in one. It gradually just kept getting worse until there was almost no white visible in my eye. Went to numerous optometrists and 1 opthamologist before being diagnosed. Only opthamologist can diagnose. Watch for continuing redness and if it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks get to an opthamologist. Condition is known to be related to many systemic illnesses but, actual cause is typically unknown. I have had it for about 10 months now! Am also be sent for blood tests to try and find out why. |
