Few a few weeks now, me lower back has been killing me. The pain is sometimes light but some days its so bad that i cant even move. The pain is split between my spain. Its very hard for me to pee and poop . When i am able to go pee it has thin flakes floating around, when this happens it burns while coming out It seems when i am stressed it's the most inflamed. I am only 17. I have a very stressful job and i sometimes have to pick up heavy things. Could this be the cause? kindney stones? or kidney infection? Please help if you can i would appreciate it thanks!

Hey Chuck,

Sounds more like you may have either a kidney or bladder infection. Are you having any lower abdominal pain or is it all in your lower back? What color are the flakes that come out? You might want to go see your Doc for a urinalysis. Antibiotics might be what is needed.

Yes, it could be kidney stone, or kidney infection, but there are many reasons for lower back pain, you should meet your doctor to check that.

good luck

If you continue to have problems, do some research on the following rare kidney disorder: Loin Pain Hematuria Syndrome (LPHS). My daughter was recently diagnosed with LPHS at the Cleveland Clinic. She has been suffering for almost four years with a variety of symptoms (the main ones being flank pain and hematuria (blood in the urine).
