Hello all, I'm brand new here and new to dry eye, which I never knew existed until I was diagnosed with it 4 mos ago. It has to be the most painful and fustrating condition ever. It effects every aspect of my life. I am in the process of trying every eye drop I can find. So far nothing really helps, several of them actually seemed to make things worse. I have the lower plugs.. they don't seem to help at all. I have just started on restasis, so far besides the burning, it hasn't helped, but I've only been on it for 2 wks. Right now my biggest concern is driving. I have a 64 mile commute. It is complete torture. I have to drive with one eye open at a time. Is anyone experiencing the same problem. I just don't know how to handle this. Any suggestions? Thank you for any help.
