Hello. I'm new to this board. I'm hoping somebody may be able to give me some help or advice.

I was diagnosed w/ Crohns Disease 2 1/2 yrs ago. Then about 1 1/2 yr ago I was diagnosed w/ Arthritis associated w/ (caused by) the Crohns. Now about 6 mo ago I have been diagnosed w/ Neurapathy caused by the Remicade(?) I take for the Crohns.

I have been poked and prodded and see more dr's in a month than normal people see in a year. Now they want to do more testing on me. My primary care phys say to ask the rehumatologist (sp?) the reuhmatologist says to talk to gastointologist (sp?) etc etc. They are going to do another test on me June 23rd but i don't know if I can wait that long!

My symptoms are: hands & feet falling asleep (numb) at night for no reason. This happens mostly when the Remicade wears off. I used to have shooting pain up the back of my right leg when sitting. That is now controlled w/ Neurotin. Also my hands/feet just go numb for no reason!!??

I have heard that this can get worse & spread up your body?

I hope somebody can help me.

Thanks
-Danielle

Hi Danielle,

I just wrote to say I saw your message and I am assuming a number of others have seen it too. In my case I haven't any clue about the issues you are discussing. I'm not sure if you've done so already, but there are other boards that discuss Arthritis and Chron's - not sure if there is neuropathy or not - Have you tried posting there?

Cheers, Raju.
