Can anybody give me tips on how to speed up recovery of a viral eye infection. So far I have had recurring viral eye infection in my left eye for 4 months. Eye doctor says no contacts for the next few months but what can I do to speed up my recovery? I would really like to get rid of this thing. Thanks

Those eye infections can be hard to overcome but you have to keep trying it just takes time. As for anything to do with an infection your immune system takes care of that and if it's weak then your healing process will be slow. For starters take some vitamin C tablets and keep taking them everyday. Also a good start would be to research vitamins just type it in the search engine, yahoo, altavista and presto there it is.Also increase your vitamin A intake even in pill form it will also help.
