I was cascade coughing (dry) last night and my whole back and arm starting hurting (stinging) like some one was paddling it. Has this ever happend to anyone else before? The first time I ever experienced that!

I was told by an M.D. that I possibly have a herniated disc. The coughing caused the disc to buldge impinging a nerve which produced the stinging or tingling sensation.

Im not really surprised, once I coughed so hard I broke a rib !
