its not dark brown but very yellow, almost concentrated. When my enzymes were in the 1,000's the thing i noticed the most was the feeling that my skin was very hot.

Taking B Vitamins would account for it ........ :) :) :)

Just what labs were out of range? Was your bilirubin out of range at the time?how much water do you normally drink during the day?If you are not getting an adaquate amount of fluid daily, your urine will look very concentrated.i am just curious as to what your actual lab #s were or currently are.Do you actually HAVE some sort of a liver disease?Marcia

Hey Marni! saw your other post--will go there after this!!
Marcia's right about the the orange-y concentrated urine. If you're dehydrated AT ALL the first thing to happen is you're urine gets darker...they refer to it as "concentrated," because it's just that. Less water in your system, less water for your urine and to flush out the waste...thus-orange urine vs pale or reg yellow. Are you eating and drinking like you should??(I know you!!! :nono: When you're concerned about something, you can't eat or drink anything!!!) Like the HappyMan suggested, probably not your liver. I didn't notice any differen when my liver was failing--and I don't think I did after. The drs. are always telling us we don't drink enough fluids and if we "feel thirsty" we're already getting dehydrated. ... Keep drinking fluids and hang in there...

my ast/alt are now at 183/60 so they are way down. Billirubin is normal now. Dr diagnosed me with mono for the second time (or a reoccurance) and said that was why i had high numbers and liver inflammation. Had an ultrasound but the liver checked out fine. It did show 4 gallstones though....
