hey sorry about your negative thoughts but remember that tomorrow is another day and whatever it is there is always a solutions and people that can relate with you. I just recently discovered this site and I am thrilled because I felt like there was no one out there that could talk with me about my OCD. My parents do not completely understand and neither do some of my friends, and others I am just afriad to tell them about it because i fear their opinion of me will be tainted or they will not understand and will fear me in a sense. Since people fear what they do not understand. Anyways I have my share of bad days just as you and that is what we all come on here for, to discover that there is others to interact with that can help and guide us through the dark times and make the bad days a little easier to cope with. So keep your head up high and remember others feel the same way sometimes and there is always someone who cares and is willing to listen and help you.

Hi Basal, I'm sorry that you are having intrusive thoughts. I saw my psychiatrist today and I told her that I get kind of down some times. I'll be seeing her next week for an hour to ensure I don't fall into a depression once more. One of the things that I do is pray - it helps me feel good and closer to God. I have intrusive thoughts about hurting loved ones (my girls), and it just wears me down. I meet with therapist this Thursday to see if I'm doing any mental compulsions.
It's hard I know Basal, but hang in there. I will pray for you.
Another thing that helps me is playing with my girls. I love them so much, and all I want is this thought to go away or change into something else.
