I saw a post on here earlier that said for that "cloggy" ear feeling get a syringe and wash them out...Do you put water in the syringe? I've heard of putting alcohol or peroxide in the ear to clean it out... What should I do...My ears are completely stopped up.. I barely can hear out of my left ear.. It is so terrible.. I'm absolutely miserable http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

If that bad- i would go to the doc for an ear flush.
I use peroxide & warm water on a regular basis. keeps things nice and clean. Used to have all kinds of wax problems befdore then.
But for you- for now - get to your doc

I get the feeling of "swimmers ears" a lot too, but my doc thinks it's related to my dental issues.
I'd see an ENT as well if you feel like it's not being resolved, diagnosed, or getting better.

My dad gets something called "Candling" done in his ears! It's neat! They burn a candle and hold it near your ear opening and it flushes the wax out of the ear! Ask about it, it's quite neat, and painless of course! He was sent home with something too, looks like a turkey baster, it's blue. I guess he puts it in his ear and it extracts the wax, I'm not 100% sure.
He's almost half-deaf because when he was young, right outta high school, he started to blast rock where we used to live in Timmins Ontario! Big rocks, we're talking mine shaft size, roadcuts, etc. Anyway, he's a control nut and he refused to wear protective ear gear! It caught up with him alright! He's only about 50% deaf in one ear, I'm not sure it's been diagnosed!
Or maybe he just doesn't listen to me! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
Who knows!
Regardless, he's not deaf, just a little hard of hearing sometimes from being a stupid teenager! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
