Sorry, I'm sure these have been touched on before, but I have some questions on the fasciculations associated with ALS.

I see where it has been called a rolling feeling. Is this like a wave that rolls across the muscle?

Also, do the fasciculations tend to come all at once across the body, or do they hit the affected area first and gradually spread?

Are they constant ongoing, do they come and go? Does their strength weaken at times?

Are they noticable when a person is active?

Any info would be appreciated.

my husband described the fasic. as a rolling motion, not twitching. they are concstant 24hours a day. more so when his muscles are more tired. they don't come and go. also, they started in his affected area, his right arm and have spread as his symptoms have spread.
they are noticeable if someone is looking at his arm.

hope this answers your questions

Yes, you did, thank you.

I wish the best for you and your husband.

Thanks
