I'm addicted to internet forums. I've tried to stop logging in but can't. Now my life revolves around the forum. I'm no longer interested in those things that used to interest me. Pl advise what I should do to stop logging in anymore.

ps Don't know if they have one, but you could be the founder!!!! That would definately eat up alot of your time.

I have heard what you are describing as a "soft addiction." My husband was addicted to playing computer games over the internet...we ended up being separated for 9 months mostly because of that (fortunately we were able to reconcile.) Don't fool yourself, this really is a problem for many people, the media just hasn't gone nuts over it yet. I think it's great that you realize that you are spending too much time on-line. Maybe try baby steps...get out and try to do one thing each day that involves interacting with people face to face. Good luck!

oh yes being addicted to the net is a real problem. i remember (when i had friends) i would be online all the time and i was using dial-up then so when a friend called it disconnected so i yelled at my friend about it hahhaha.
