tbear228 05-30-2005, 02:08 PM is any one meter better than the rest, or does in depend on the person, my friend has type 1 and takes her readings about 6 x a day. rsvp. Marie55 05-30-2005, 02:22 PM Usually it is a user's preference. I prefer the Accu-Chek Advantage with Comfort Curve Strips. SamQKitty 05-30-2005, 11:32 PM They're pretty much all good. As Marie stated, it's a matter of preference and possibly cost (there are a few that cost much less, such as WalMart's store brand). Some differences are test strips vs. cartridges, ability to test in forearm in addition to fingertips (should not use forearms if you're prone to lows), ability to download information with a computer hookup, speed of results (5 seconds versus 20-30 seconds), size of readout, size of meter, etc. Ruth |
