For a few years now I've seen shimmering/flickering lights or stars, of greenish-yellow color everytime in the dark when my eyes are adjusting to darkness. I also see tons of squiggly lines in the dark. I've had several eye doctors or specialists tell me they didn't find anything. Does anyone else have night vision problems like this, and do you think they will go away over time? Are there any specific tests that anyone could recommend?

Also, I never asked an eye doctor to look into my eyes in the dark when these things are happening, is that a good idea to try, or would it even matter since they already looked deep into my eyes in normal day light? Thanks.
