I have MVP, and lately (OUCH even right now) I've been getting sharp, "pinching" second-long chest pains directly over my heart. This is the first time I've had any pain in months. It usually happens when I inhale, it kind of catches me off guard. I am such a hypochondriac and I'm afraid that my heart is going to stop as soon as I go to bed. :( Anyone else feel this pinching type of pain????

Rest assured that heart pain isn't usually of the pinching one second variety. It sounds more like a localized tendon or muscle inflammation. Try some ibuprofen or naproxen.
These types of pains usually go away as mysteriously as they pop up.
