View Full Version : Lower Right Side Pain...Result of Painkillers?

Hey Everybody,

As some of you might know, and some of you may not, I am now 2 weeks and 4 days clean of oxycodone. For the past 6 years though I have taken Ibuprofun, Celebrex, etc...all types of meds for pain control before I tried oxycodone and became addicted. The reason I am writing though, is I have been having this terrible burning/aching type pain in my lower right side of my stomach/side. Do any of you know if this could be a result of too much acetominophine (sp) or the other meds to control pain that I have taken for so many years now???

I had been diagnosed with ulcers (from all the meds after surgeries, stress...etc) and also I have had problems with cysts on my ovaries and many menstrual problems.

I was just wondering though....if this pain might have anything to do with all of the use of pain control meds....when I became addicted to the oxycodone though, I dont believe it contains acet.

Any suggestions?? Im sure I am going to need to make a visit to my doctor but I am in the middle of doctors right now...since we had such trouble with my doctor that put me through detox (if you dont remember or care to hear about it...you can look at the past posts..)

Thanks so much!

Katie

If you have been taking the pain meds w/the ace. in it then it could have damaged your stomach, liver, etc... If you drink alcohol w/pain-killers, it could cause severe liver damage!! I have even heard of immediate liver failure combining the p.k. w/alcohol!!
