I've only been on cymbalta for a few days now. Every time I take it, I end up with a dull head ache. It's a "wide" pain - spanning across the front of my head. And a dull ache (instead of the sharp intense stabbing pains like a migraine.)

It's a very annoying pain.

Anyway, has anyone else experienced this? Does it go away?

Sorry Momwithms I Know I'm Way Off Course Here, but I Needed To Ask You A ?i Don't Take Any Meds For Fibro,so I Can't Answer You,just Saw My Gp Las Friday For Deep Numbness On The Top Of My Foot, especially My Big Toe,it'll Be 2 Weeks Tomorrow, and I Still Have It.he Had The Report From The Rheumy Who Said She Thought I Had Fibro, but I Had An Attack Of Some Kind A Few Months Ago,optic Neuritis The First Symtom Followed By Many Others That Are Ms Symtoms, had Mri Done, without Contrast ,it Was Neg.
My ?is How Do You Distinguish(spelling)? I have been on it for a couple of weeks and get a twinge across the forhead, but not enough to classify as a headache. ONly taking 30 mg. at present; probably will increase in the near future. How many mg. are you taking? 30 or 60mg? Once or twice a day? A friend who was on it had several side effects that went away after a 10 - 15 days...of course, we are all different.

Wish you the best...

I was on Cymbalta for 1 week and it was the worse week of my life....I felt like I was on speed and I think I maybe slept 2 hours in a week.

I have been on Cymbalta for 4 days and can't get out of bed. I feel like I am heavily drugged. I normally sleep about 6 hours a night and the last 3 nights I have slept about 12 (plus naps during the day). I am only on 30 mg and supposed to go to 60 mg on Weds. I have no energy at all. I guess this will not work for me.
Is there a magic pill that will help my depression and not cause weight gain???

I started on Cymbalta in June, and for the first 3 days, I really thought that death would be a better alternative. I started taking it at night, and now feel great. Good luck.
