It sounds like someone is lightly blowing in my ear to the beat of my heart, yes, to the beat of my beat. there's no pain attached to it, but it's quite annoying, and if I put my finger tips right under where my ear lobe attaches to my neck or whatever, and push lightly then pull down, the sound goes away. or, if I turn my head to the left,(this is the left ear by the way) then it goes away.

Does anyone know what this is? Is it treatable? I've had it for over a year, could it be trapped water!? Would using ear drops to get out ear wax, THEN using swimmer's ear stuff work? Ugh, I'm so confused and annoyed, stop blowing in my ear!

I could have written this. I have the EXACT symptoms, right down to the pressure below the ear and turning my head to the left. I had this same problem a few years ago and it lasted about 8 months. One year later it returned and has been hounding me for some 7-8 months. Tje first time I had CT scan, MRI/MRA and doppler ultrasound of carodit arteries....all showed ok.
I have noted others with similar or same problem that also checked out ok in the scans etc. Maybe someone will find out what causes this and share it with the rest of us.
