Does anyone know what condition can cause side of your face to change, as in, one eye starts to lower and one side of your nose starts to cave in or something. And are there any websites about it? I really appreciate any help.

It might possibly be a condition called Bells palsy. This would be a good place to start.Good luck,FB

I second that thought...my cousin had it and the symptoms were as you describe. Please see a doctor.

definatley might be Bells Palsy. It's a virus that inflames a nerve in your face, and causes those muscles to not work the way they should, which leads to drooping on the side effected. SEE A DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY. They will give you anti-virals for it. My mom had it and she took her medicine and was fine. It all cleared up. Good luck!

my stepmother has had a similar condition for years (she's 80yrs), and it is related to several strokes mostly small almost undetectable, but 3-5 major.

Hi -

Another possibility to account for the drooping eye is an upper lobe lung tumor. That is what my father had as his 1st sympton, then he lost his voice and developed shoulder pain. His nose didn't "cave in".

Wishing you well - Barbara

Hey, I remember back about 15 years ago I knew someone who had something similar happen to him. It was Belle's Palsy and the whole side of his right face drooped. He lost all control of muscle function but he slowly regained it back. It was a temporary condidtion. Don't know what causes however hope this helps some! I'll be praying for your condition.
