Hello:
I am a 35-year old woman and lately I have been getting fluttering and palpitation sensations on the right side of my chest. I have gottne an echocardiagram which was normal but did show a relatively short P-R interval and and EKG which was normal. The palpitations seem to get worse from when I eat certain foods like those with MSG (mono sodium glutamate) or chocolate. Still the fluttering feeling in my right chest is long-lasting and kind of scary. I am getting a holter monitor in a few days. Does anyone have experience with this. ARe they even considered palpitations if they are on the right side?

Thanks so much in advance.

Emily
