Does anyone know the relationship between candida and anxiety?

I have done alot of reading about candida albicans -- the one cell fungus that is always present in your intestines and genital tracts.

It only becomes a problems when it gets out of balance and can affect various parts of the body --- because of the many and varied symptoms that out of balance can cause--- it is frequently not diagnosed correctly.

I have never heard of candidiasis being related to stress or anxiety. But since diet can mess up friendly bacteria by binge eating -- too much sugary food can cause a problems as well as too much salty food.

Candida thrive on sugary food.

why do doctors say there is not a test to test for candida and how do you know you have it

The way Candidiasis is diagnosed is by the symptoms!! The problem is there are many and various symptoms-- and it is very frequently misdiagnosed....
There are a number of books written about yeast infections!!!
