Hi all, unsure where to begin but i feel the need to start by expressing over the last year my life has turned upside down in many ways.
The first changes i remember started when i couldnt get out of bed for 4days.
I felt really ill yet no explanation. I then had blurred vision in one eye.Double vision, floaters.
I have had attacks from my face been paralysed to all my body.
Everyday is different i can have 1 great day look and feel rather well, then the next i cant even lift my head up, i feel absolouteley shattered. Every part of my body feels weak. I can be in bed for days yet i cant explain what is wrong apart from exhausted, tired, shattered ill.
I suffer pain tingling, burning in my legs, ankles have to hold on to things, legs feel like im dragging a ton of bricks behind them.
I had op 3yr ago for carpel tunnel yet my hands arms are some days of no use cant move or use them,pins/needles ect.
I now get extremely upset because people are assuming im lazy, stressed, ect.Get a bath u will feel better ,it makes me worse i feel sick, dizzy.
Have probs sleeping ect ect.I finally went to g.p he did blood tests..ok.
Please help im 36....

What did the GP tell you other than your blood tests were OK? Did the GP suggest further tests?

You have a right to get answers and I hopeyou will keep plugging away until you get some. If your G.P won't cooperate, then find yourself another doctor who WILL help.

Also, request copies of your test results, and begin plugging information into the internet search engines to learn everything you can about the results.

It will take some effort -- but obviously your GP isn't providing the answers you need, and there must be some kind of answers.

If you want to know how to read your test results, check out the "How to Research" page at www.diagKNOWsis.org

You might be amazed how thyroid dysfunction can affect a person. Check out the Thyroid Board for a symptoms list.

Have you had an MRI of the brain? It sounds like you could be experiencing symptoms of Mutilple Sclerosis. Ask your GP to refer you to a neurologist.

I felt that way too, a while back, and i had problem with carbon monoxide poisioning that I was unaware of... The heat exchanger had completely crumbled... slow effect of carbon monoxide for a couple of months made me very weak and confused. Just a thought..... good luck to you

Hi,
You might want to check out info relating to Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue as well, especially if all your blood work comes back "normal". They both have boards on this site too. The burning sensations, pins and needles, vision problems, extreme fatigue, and people being accused as simply lazy are all symptoms of fibro...unfortunately both conditions are diagnosed by ruling out everything else so it can take a while.
Hang in there and hope you get answers soon :)
