Hi, This is my first time posting, but I'm hoping someone could help. For the last couple of years I have been having this problem where I will start to get a stomach ache then I get really nausiated until I eventually will throw up. When I do finally throw up I will feel fine after. I never know when it will happen. Different foods, or time of day, activities or my menstral cycle don't seem to affect this. I get this anywhere from twice a week to two or three times a month. I've gone to my family dr and he ordered a gallbladder us and an upper GI w/ small bowel and both of them came back normal. I don't have any problems with my bowels or going to the bathroom, but he diagnosed me with IBS. Does this sound like IBS to anyone else?

I would say no. If you have no problems with the bowels, I would def. not say irritable BOWEL syndrome.

Look at the rome criteria at the top of this board and you'll see that you really don't meet the criteria for ibs.
