Has anyone ever done a trial study for Bipolar Disorder? I recently lost my insurance because I quit my job (I was in a depression at the time) so I can't afford the pdoc or the medication anymore.
They are doing a study in my city on Serequel (?). I called and got all the info on it. I think I am going to do it because it is free medication, free treatment, and I get paid everytime I go in. They are also going to put me on Lithium to supplement it.
I guess I am just wondering if anyone has done it? Is this one of my really bad ideas?
Thanks in advance! :jester:

Hi, I can't say I've been involved in anything like this before, but I can say that no, it's not one of your bad ideas. If I was in the same situation, I would do exactly the same thing...I'm just very fortunate to have easily slipped into the public health system and be eligible for free treatment and cheap meds.

I think it's a grand idea. I have even told people about this before. The study may even help thousands of of people.
