Hi everyone,

I'm currently in the process of getting my tattoo removed by laser. I've had 4 treatments and it's going away, but more slowly than I'd hoped.

Has anyone had any experiences with this? Can you tell my how long it took to go away?

Thanks,

Piper

I don't know how big your tatoo is, but I had one removed that was aabout as big as the palm of your hand and it took one treatment. The Doc had done a lot of them and was fast, took about 45 minutes. I have scars from it but they are going away. Vit. E helps.
P. S. Ever think that he is just draggeing it out to make those extra bucks?? Not to say that he is but it is a thought.

I had a tattoo removed a couple of years ago - it took almost 2 years of treatments! It was on my shoulder, a purple flower with lots of green stems, outlined in black. Apparently, green and purple are the worst colors to remove. After about the first year or so, the dermatologist who was doing it wouldn't even take any more money from me! it became his little project. He thought upfront that it would be gone in 5-6 treaments. In all fairness, about the last 4-6 times I went we were only working on one little stem that curled up almost in a tail that was being really stubborn. Now you'd never know I had one unless I pointed it out....then if you really look you can see a faint green color on certain areas.

Please note the date of the original post. It is well over 4 years old. Second you need to make your own seperate thread when asking your questions.~Modinatrix21
