 Hi all,
I am writing this in regards to my best friend, she has a 14 yr old son who is labaled "special needs" she had him tested & all they said was he is a few yrs behind the other kids. He has been in a special needs class ever since, but has made little progress.
He cannot read/write. he can just print his name(i think) He "refuses" to even try to do any kind of math. He watches TV alot, has no friends, has a speech problem. He "appears" to be cross eyed? but im not sure HOW his vision is, he wears glasses.
Perhaps its just a wandering eye.
We live in Ontario, & they say the kids outnumber the teachers, so its hard for any one on one interaction. Im sure its like this everywhere?

I guess im just frustrated, i feel bad for this kid b/c i think that more "could" have been done & he should have made some progress by now.
At the same time i dont want to tell my friend HOW to raise her son,,,she has her hands full.
Thanks 4 listening~~
