i got a hepatitis and liver test done.. the hepatitis came back negative.. but one of the enzymes in my liver was tested 1 month ago and came back as 61.. now it is 79. The doctor said my other liver test came back normal.. is it weird for 1 test to be higher than the other? Im 19 and have had under 20 beers my entire life.. and have not drank in over a year.

Yes, that quite strange, usually AST and ALT will increase together. However in some cases that could happen because several factors.
Slight-to-moderate elevations of ALT (usually with higher increases in AST levels) may appear in any condition that produces acute hepatocellular (liver cell) injury, such as active cirrhosis, and drug-induced or alcoholic hepatitis.
Low-to-moderate elevations of AST evels (ranging from 2 to 5 times normal) may indicate metastatic hepatic tumours, acute pancreatitis, pulmonary emboli, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, and fatty liver (steatosis).
If your doctor could not answer the problem, try to find a hepatologist (an internist who specializes in liver).
good luck
