I am pregnant, 8 wks, I went for my 1st Dr's appt yesterday. I am 35, and conceived this pregnancy (and my son) by using 50mg Clomid. Well during my pelvic the Dr said my Uterous felt the size of a 10 to 12 wk pregnancy instead of a 8 wk. I am a big girl, and my son isn't 1 yet, so I didn't know if that could be the reason. She said that it could be nothing, just the way I am, or it could be multiples. I have to go back on the 17th for my first ultrasound and we will find out then if there is 2 heartbeats. My question is to those who have been pregnant w/ twins is this the way you found out? Or during a pelvic exam did you here that the uterous is much larger than how many weeks you are?

Well, I didn't have twins but my uterus measured bigger and so was my daughter. My conception date was off by about 2 weeks to begin with and my daughter was 9 pounds 9.5 oz when I had her .. you could just have a big baby ....
