i am 18 years old and have had herpes since i was a baby. i've been to the doctor so many times and they started out saying it was impetigo but soon found out it was herpes outbreaks. i have the outbreaks on my face (cheek) and have done the "valtrex thing" which hasn't helped too much. i'm wondering where i got this from and what to do about it? thanks. :bouncing:

Does it look like acne . I think I have it on my chin . Mine are blisters that itch .

yeah...when i have an outbreak... it's always on my cheek or jaw line. sometimes i get it covering my whole cheek other times it's just about an inch or two long and wide. they are bubbles that have puss in them and they itch EXTREMELY BAD!!!!! if you have this.. make sure you dont pop the bubbles because that's really contagious and also it makes it worse. just let it scab over... mine usually takes a good week and 1/2 if not longer to go away. hope this helps. also you can go to the doctor and talk to them about what you should do...i used to take valtrex for it but i didn't notice TOO much of a change. best of luck. :bouncing:
