I want to have an u/l bleph. I was wondering whether to consider an oculoplastic surgeon for this procedure or a regular pc. Who would know better about the eyes though than an oculoplastic guy. Any opinions?

Sponsor Tanya 02-02-2001, 06:44 PM If you are considering upper and lower blepharoplasty you need to have at least three seperate opinions first. Whether you go to a plastic surgeon or an oculoplastic surgeon, they must have had a great deal of experience in this particular operation. Everyones eyes are different and your eyes must be evaluated first to the type of bleph that you require. Not every surgeon does this, whether plastic or oculoplastic and of course the results will depend on the type of surgery each suggests. Check with various surgeons and ask them to recommend an excellent surgeon for you, and keep checking the boards for the names of surgeons to avoid. I wish I had done this before I had my operation with the surgeon who 'transformed' Cindy Jackson. He transformed me to, but not for the better. I have learnt the hard way not to go to only one surgeon for an opinion. Good luck. ------------------ |
