Has anyone succesfully weaned themselves off a beta blocker - specifically - bisoprolol? I have to take clindamycin for an infected tooth before my root canal next week as well. Do you think the mixture of drugs is alright? The pharmacist says it is fine but I always second guess people. I am also on Altace, thank you for the advice.

I don't think there's any problem with a beta-blocker. But if you are taking any statin be VERY wary of clindamycin...I had a DOOZY of a reaction with Lipitor.
