hey i need some help....for like a week i was feeling like i was pregnant..i had all the symptoms and everything but now they have ALL went away...is this a sign of miscarriage or is it normal for all the signs to just go away like that. I have taken tests and stuff and they came out positive. Every other site ive been on has said that losing the symptoms is a sign that a misscarriage may happen....i was just wondering if this has happened to anyone and if it did end in a misscarriage...thank you for the help!
btw the ONLY symptom that i am still having is exremely painful cramps on and off and when there not painful there still there slightly. thanks again

Hello! I have had two miscarriages that I woke up and did not feel pregnant anymore; later that day I began bleeding and the cramping followed. I have had several other miscarriages that it took time afterwards to lose all of the symptoms.

It is a sign that a miscarriage may happen and combined with a positive pregnancy test it may be a good idea to see your OB/GYN as soon as possible.

Extremely painful cramps are not a sign of pregnancy (mild menstrual like cramps often times accompany pregnancy though). This all warrants a call to the doc.

Let us know how it goes!

Hello~

If you have had a positive pregnancy test you need to make an appointment with your doctor anyway asap. But I do want to encourage you a little bit...not "feeling" pregnant anymore is just as normal as having all kinds of "pregnancy symptoms". Every woman is different and every pregnancy is different. Just because you are not having as many symptoms as you were before does not mean that a miscarriages is impending. As for the cramps...well, some cramping can be normal. I do think you should get in touch with your doctor, but I don't think all hope is lost by any stretch of the imagination. I know this is a scary time...I will be thinking of you.

Much love,
Michaela

I just miscarried last Tuesday. A few days before I miscarried, I noticed that I didn't have my pregnancy symptoms anymore. A day later I started to spot... the bleeding became heavier and heavier until I had huge blood clots and cramps and eventually miscarried.
You should see your doctor or the hospital as soon as you can. They will be able to check and see if the baby is OK, most likely by doing an ultrasound.
Just try to stay calm. I know that the hardest thing to do in this situation is to not worry, but just try to relax!
I will be thinking about you. Take care of yourself and let us know how things go.
Love,
Sheila
