Hello, I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.

Last week my 6 month old baby had a red toe, I didn't worry too much about it, thought maybe her toenail was doing it. The redness went away in a few days, now she has 2 more toes that are red and swollen. It's winter where I live, maybe it's the cold (chill blaines), but I'm not sure what they look like and is it possible for a baby to suffer from this. Of course I will be taking her to the doc this week, thought I'd check the net first.

This may sound dumb but how well do her sleepers fit? My baby had red toes when he was 2 months old and it turned out to be that the foot part of his sleepers were too small! Rather than throw them out (the body part was actually big) I just cut the toe part off and the problem was solved!

Thanks for reply. My baby is long so her sleepers could be the cause. I'm going to take more notice when I change her, I hope that is the reason.
