Hey guys, first of all im 17 and underweight and I've been researching so much about this and found some forums where somebody had the same symptoms and the person said it might be fibro, but she diddnt give enough info so I would like to clear it up right here. I have also only taken one heart test which was a regular stress test to check for heart disease, it came out completely normal (im also doing an echo soon...) but if its not the heart then could it be fibro?
What I have is, every damn morning I wake up with really bad chest pains...Its not sharp but it feels like extreme exertion and breathing becomes a tottal chore! the moment I stand out of bed (which I have to cause its unbearable) It goes away after a few minutes and I simply forget about it...I get it every morning and sometimes it might have sharp pains around some smal areas but like I said, the pain can be perfectly described as my lungs being extremely exerted and it hurt badly. Another good explanation would be when you lay on flat on your chest for like a looong time and try breathe like that the whole time, the pain that you get from that is what i feel (eventhough I never sleep on my stomach.)
Forgot to add this, I also sometimes have really bad abdominal pain, same type like the chest one also in the morning only and it goes away. I cant located it anywhere, It cant be my kidneys because when I rub around that area I dont feel any pain but then again I can feel it radiate all over my lower back!
I also wake up with headaches, almost everyday too on morning and eye pain, mostly in the back of my eyes and it hurts like hell when I move them, they feel hot too...

Hi DC ... I wouldn't say it sounds exactly like Fibro. But then what I've read ... each person can differ a bit with their symptoms. I wonder if u do not have GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) which allows acid to come up where it shouldn't be when u r lying down. Maybe do some research on that ... acid in that area can cause a lot of pain. And maybe once u get started drinking and eating after u get up .. it settles it. I say this because I also have a stomuch problem which gives me severe pain in the upper part of my stomuch .. just under my ribs first thing in the morning ... I was put on an acid blocking drug for one month and so far so good. I'm having a colonoscopy shortly and an endoscopy for my symptoms. Another cause of lots of acid can be the bacteria called HPylori which can get into the stomuch ... can cause a lot of stomuch disorders which cause pain from the extra acid the bug causes .. including pain in the chest too as well as headaches. I guess ... it could be one of many things. You shouldn't be waking up with pain though .. so I would keep going back to the doc till they get to the bottom of it ... good luck! :) ... PS ... Symptoms of GERD are:
Chest pain, especially at night while lying down
Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)
Coughing, wheezing, asthma, hoarseness or sore throat
Regurgitated blood
Stool that's black, which may mean it contains partially digested blood
The bleeding may not be a symptom at first ... but rather if the condition is left untreated.

Ahh I see...I guess I have to keep going to the doc for that, this is just such mystery. I dont know If i have GERD but my doctor said that we still need to take an x-ray of my stomach some time to rule some things out. Thanks for the response.
