Is anyone out there knowledgeable about the process by which someone hears their own voice? My partner is having a problem where the sound of her own voice is much harder to hear than anyone else talking or other noises around her. Any sound she makes sounds like it's coming from far away. What could be interrupting the sound of her own voice getting to her ears? I would guess it would be some sort of conductivity issue, but we're both stumped.
Any help would be appreciated
