Hi everyone,

my name is Silke and I'm from Frankfurt, Germany. My best friend (23 years old) has been diagnosed with AML M7. At the hospital over here they don't have any experiences with this rare form of AML. Does anyone in the US or anywhere else in the world know a doctor or a clinic that knows how to treat M7. She, her family and I are very nervous because they will start chemo this week and we are not sure if it is the right treatment. Please, can anybody help???

There is a cancer treatment center in Tampa Florida, USA, called Moffit. It is nationally known for treating Leukemia. However, usually chemo of some kind is used and when possible stem cell transplants are done to effect remissions of the disease. This gets way to complicated to discuss in a forum like this.
