I was wondering if this diet sounded okay? First off, I am just trying to loose about 5-10 lbs. I want to go on a diet where I only eat some fruits during the day and eat a regular dinner at night. (Small salad, some grilled chicken and veggies). I understand that this might be a little drastic or I wont be getting enough nutrients, but any other input? I came to learn that you cannot get fat off of fruit. I never heard of anyone who got fat because they liked fruit too much. If only it was that way with icecream and cookies!!! :rolleyes:
Give me an example of what your breakfast and lunch would look like. If it would only be ONE fruit for breakfast, and ONE fruit for lunch.....then, I don't think that would be enough. Plus, I would think that you may experience fatigue without any protein, and basically all sugar. That's just my opinion. Maybe you could try oatmeal in the morning with fruit, etc etc. THen a low fat protein for lunch with fruit like low-fat cottage cheese at least for example. Or yogurt and fruit for lunch. Or some nuts, legumes, or SOMETHING with the fruit that doesn't have to be fattening. When I diet, I usually eat fruit in between my meals, lol. Good luck. :)
Oh and by the way, I'm sure that you know when you lose weight too fast like that...it is very hard maintain, VERY hard.
