It's been about 1 hour and half from the time I actually choked on a piece of a chip. It really got so bad that after some secs I couldn't breathe! I'm drinking so much water, yet I still feel like there's a "blockage" there. Do you think this is the case? I've tried to eat some small things and i they seem to go down. But I have that feeling...could it be psychological? What should I do?

Well I think I'm okay...I just finished a plate of dinner too. I guess the chip just irratated my throat and gave me the sensation that it's still there. I mean, come on, after half a gallon of water and a plate of dinner, it should have soften up. Anyway, your psyche can make things MUCH worse....

Most likely when you choked, you irritated your throat and it is slightly swollen still. That is pretty common.

More than likely the chip scratched the throat and it will take time to heal.
