im new here

my sister has had diabetes for many years but during the last 12 months things have got worse

she says she has always had plenty of energy but from the time she gets up in the morning she feels exhausted. she can hardly get dressed.

she says she has a good diet and cant understand why she is like it.

Can anyone help please? any info will be great. :)

Does she see an endo regularly to test her A1c? How are her blood sugar numbers. extremely high or low? Diet is not the only factor to consider in diabetes. We all feel fatiqued at times, but if it is constant she needs to be checked by her doctor.

In addition to monitoring her blood sugars closely, is she being checked for possible kidney disease? High blood sugar is one factor that can cause exhaustion. Another factor is deterioration of kidney function.

As Marol said, it's time for her to see her doctor!
