Okay...Here's my situation. About a month ago I began to experience stomach discomfort (nausea after eating, very gassy, constipation, and belching). I saw my GP and he gave me nexium. I then saw a GI doc who told me to come back in 6 weeks. It has been 4 1/2 weeks since this all started and I still have the nausea after eating, the gas and instead of constipation I have been having loose stools. They are very light in color and not quite solid and occasional diahrea. They are not normal. Is there any way of telling me what the problem might be. I am one of those horrible online symptom searchers and have researched that light stools = hepatitis. I'm starting to get a little panicked!

Have they done a scope (endoscope) of your upper GI. I had the same symptoms as you and was diagnosed with severe Gastritis. I am also on Nexium and it helps but I am not healed and it has been 5 weeks. Let me know
