Hi everyone,

I was recently talking with a customer of mine and he exclaimed to me that his wife was battling IBS also. He asked me if I found that IBS was almost life consuming. I answered right away, that yes, it is life consuming to me. What about the rest of you? Do you find that IBS almost takes over your life? Just curious...

Oh yes - most definitely. My life revolves around my IBS despite my best efforts.

Yes! Many days I try to be positive and tell myself that I'm feeling good, and I'm not going to worry about it today but, it never works. My tummy starts to "rock and roll" and that's it. The worrying begins! ~Calcium is still working! It's been a month now and so far so good! Give it a try for IBS-D!!!! I'm starting to relax more!

Yes, I feel the same way. My life has to work around IBS - my mind is constantly occupied with what-ifs: specifically "what if it changed and I can no longer handle things the way I currently do" or "what if things are being changed without my current knowledge, but I find out later the hard way". I'm also always having to deal with the question "How do I get this down to zero and keep it that way, without getting caught?"

On the other hand: I have no washroom worries. Phew!

Cheers, Raju.

Do not pull up old threads and post on them.

It is best to start a new thread.
